Santino Casio is the prisoner accused of stabbing Tory Lanez 14 times.

In a jailhouse interview, he admitted to stabbing Tory and said he did it because Tory had threatened him and put money on his head and believes he acted in self-defense.

“Everything led up to that day … I heard some rumors that he was trying to put money on my head.  He felt uncomfortable living next to me.  Said I was I threat.  So I confronted him … He said he heard that I put money on his head.  So we had a discussion, whatever.  So the next morning I come out to see if everything was good.  He said, yeah, so I was going back into my cell.  And when I look back instead of walking back to his cell he was walking toward my door.  He stood in front of my cell, looked back at his boys, made a little smirk.  And he told me he had something in his pocket.  It looked to me that it could be a weapon.  So I rushed in.  I snatched him.  Took advantage of him because he was weak  Keep slaming him and stabbing him,”  Casio explained, adding he wasn’t trying to kill Lanez and believe he stabbed him first.

According to Casio, things between him and Lanez were cool at first.  However, their relationship deteriorated after he confronted Tory about talking too much.
