YFN Lucci pleaded guilty to one count of violating the Street Gang and Terrorism Prevention Act last January and received a 10 year prison sentence, as well as 10 years of probation.

But last year Fulton County’s District Attorney Fani Willis wrote a letter to the State Board of Pardons and Paroles and said she supports him getting an early release.

According to reporter Loren LoRosa, that early release will come much sooner than later.

Ā

“YFN LUCCI IS SET TO BE RELEASED FROM PRISON THIS MONTH.. Ā Jan 2025 .. Iā€™ve confirmed the reports,” she tweeted yesterday. “A source close to the rapper tells me, Ā Lucci will be released ANY DAY NOW. His teams literally checking their phones daily for the call.”

“Heā€™ll be under set conditions or rules he has to follow at the time of his release (which is standard), but Iā€™m told the conditions arenā€™t too crazy,” added LoRosa. “Theyā€™re the same conditions that were set forth at the time of his plea.”

Once released, it’ll be interesting to see if Lucci picks up where he left off with his rap career, or if he’ll choose to stay out of the limelight for a while.

What’s your prediction?Ā
