Remy Ma is dealing with some serious family issues at the moment.  Her son Jayson Scott was charged with first-degree murder last month.
On top of that, there’s been speculation that her marriage to Papoose ended after she cheated on him with battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain.
While there’s been no official word from Remy or Pap about the state of their marriage, some saw that Remy used her maiden name, Smith, in the writing credit for “Outta Control,” her new song with Fat Joe.
In past songs, the name Remy Mackie was used, Mackie being Pap’s last name.
“To fumble Papoose is wild to me,” someone wrote on Instagram after seeing the name change.
“Oh well at least Pap has time to find his true queen. Sh*t could’ve saved him a few years when she was locked,” another person wrote, bringing up Remy spending six years in prison before being released in 2014.
But others said the name change means nothing.
“Y’all have no idea what was going on in their marriage behind closed doors!” someone stated. “Like please hang it up! Neither one of them have spoken on it.”
