New York-based independent publisher Reservoir has signed platinum-selling producer Twysted Genius to a worldwide publishing deal. The Mississippi native, who is managed by Quality Control Music, joins a roster featuring Hip Hop stars such as 2 Chainz and Young Thug.

The new deal gives Reservoir the publishing rights to all of Twysted’s discography, including his work on Lil Baby’s My Turn album.

“I’m so excited about this partnership with Twysted and Reservoir and to see a team who believes in him as much as we do,” Quality Control CEO Pierre Thomas said in a press release. “To watch him come from nothing and put in the work and time to a year later he’s got some of the biggest songs in the game is truly a blessing. He’s so young and talented and we all can’t wait to see him become the huge force in music that we all clearly see he will be.”

Twysted was one of the key contributors to Lil Baby’s My Turn, which spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The producer was behind the beats for “Sum 2 Prove,” “Emotionally Scarred,” the Future-assisted “Live Off My Closet” and “Forever” featuring Lil Wayne.

“Sum 2 Prove” and “Emotionally Scarred” were both certified platinum and charted on the Hot 100. The former peaked at No. 16 while the latter reached No. 31.

Twysted also produced “Come Outside” and “That’s My Bitch” on the City Girls’ latest album City On Lock. He previously worked with the duo on the 2019 single “JT First Day Out.”
