Corey Walker was the only adult among the four people charged in the murder of Pop Smoke.
Walker, who was 19 at the time, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and two counts of home-invasion robbery.
This week, he was sentenced to 29 years.
He had been facing murder charges before the plea
Walker and his three accomplices were accused of killing Pop in LA Air BnB in 2020. Â The foursome made off with Pop’s Rolex, which they sold for $2000.
