The next Pusha T album is fast approaching. In a new interview, he confirmed a forthcoming collaboration with JAY-Z.

The new Pusha-T era is underway. Two weeks after premiering his “Diet Coke” visual with Kanye West, the rapper stopped by Gillie Da Kid and Wallo’s podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game to confirm another album guest: JAY-Z.

While discussing his history with Hov, Push revealed that the two will have multiple collaborations on his follow-up to 2018 album Daytona.

“I got three songs with him now … something from my new album,” Push shared. “I don’t know if I was supposed to say that, but I’m up with y’all, though, we here.”

Push and Hov have only collaborated twice, on Ye’s 2010 My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy cut “So Appalled” and the 2016 Push single “Drug Dealers Anonymous”. While Push opined that he and Hov were tied on both songs, he admitted that the Brooklyn-bred rapper might’ve edged him out on their new song.

“Oh, he got busy,” Pusha said. “I send him shit ’cause I know he gonna say shit that I just can’t say. To me, that’s what be wild impressive.”

Last month, Push’s manager Steven Victor told Complex that his next album will fulfill his contract with Def Jam, although Push is still signed with G.O.O.D. Music.

“He might re-sign with Def Jam,” Push’s manager Steven Victor said. “It’s just the whole point of it is that he’s still with Kanye regardless to wherever he ends up with his next projects.”

Push also hopped in the interview to give his take on the album.

“All I’ll say is this: The album of the motherfucking year is coming. A Pusha album takes a long time. It takes a long time to put this shit together, but when it comes together, ain’t nothing fucking with it,” he said. “We stamping that on everything. I don’t care what they say, how they act. I don’t care how viral they go, none of that. Nothing is fucking with it. I’m on some one thousand percent rap superhero shit, man.”
