It’s the second to last New Music Friday of what has certainly been an interesting year, to say the least. For anyone having a hard time keeping track of Hip Hop’s contribution to this latest trip around the sun, be sure to check out HipHopDX’s year-end Awards articles.

The official tongue of the holidays is Slime Language, or Slime Language 2 to be exact. After one of this year’s great pump fakes back in November, Thugger is officially beginning the rollout of this Young Stoner Records collaborative project. Elsewhere, we’ve got two Gunna features, a strong Nigerian influence and overall fresh heat for the holiday parties, which have now been relegated to the Zoom space.

Young Thug f. Gunna & Yak Gotti – “TTSTT”

When all else fails, sometimes the only recourse is to “Take That Shit To Trial.” Hopefully, this song will stay in the realm of fiction — Hip Hop is already holding a huge stack of Ls from this year.

G Herbo – “Statements”

It’s been a rollercoaster month for Herb, who welcomed a new baby into the world but is also facing charges stemming from accusations of identity theft. Thankfully, the Chi-Town, rapper is still coming with new music.

Rich The Kid – “Right”

As the heat from his recent YoungBoy Never Broke Again collab continues to radiate, Rich The Kid keeps his foot on the gas pedal with this flossy new track.

DDG f. YG – “Moonwalking In Calabassas (YG Remix)”

“G-Mix” would be the more appropriate title as both red and blue are well represented on this latest rendition of Blueface’s ubiquitous single. If Michael Jackson were here today he would definitely hear this and be like “damn that’s gangsta.”

Tyla Yaweh f. Gunna & Wiz Khalifa – “All The Smoke”

“Wiz Khalifa” and “Smoke” are really the only words that need to be said for fans to know what time it is. Throw Gunna into this mix and the energies align for any situation.

OMB Peezy f. YFN Lucci & Yungeen Ace – “Hustle”

Alabama’s OMB Peezy, Lucci and newcomer Yungeen Ace go stupid on this latest single from Peezy’s forthcoming project Too Deep For Tears. The grind doesn’t take a holiday, and this one is for entrepreneurs from all walks of life.

EarthGang f. Wale – “Options”

Ironically, EarthGang and Wale wait until peak cuffing season to encourage flexibility.

Felipe Da Don f. Lil Baby – “Sticky”

Newcomer Felipe Da Don fancies his dollar bills fresh from the bundle and with that new money smell in his latest single. Also, surprise surprise, Lil Baby made it into the Friday rotation again!

SlowThai — “Thoughts”

The Northhampton-bred artist’s latest single finds him spilling his brain’s contents and all of it rhymes beautifully.

tobi lou – “2hrs”

Maybe it’s something about the angst associated with Chicago winters that is causing the “Windy City” artists to keep the output strong. Either way, Tobi Lou takes charge in his latest single.

Thutmose – “Adrenaline”

Brooklyn by way of Nigeria-bred rapper Thutmose gives his all to this high-energy new single, which has already been picked up by ESPN to be used throughout the year during programming.

Also be sure to check out New Music Friday albums and check out the ‘Singles’ and ‘Videos’ sections for new music throughout the week.
