Montana of 300 is apparently so confident in his lyrical skills, he’s willing to put upwards of half a million dollars on the line. On Wednesday (May 20), the Chi-Town rapper jumped on Instagram and said he’d give any rapper from Chicago between $100,000 and $500,000 to battle him.

“I got anywhere from $100K-500K against any Chicago rapper,” he wrote. “Mf’s flexing with that loan from their labels like it’s theirs, tryna trick dz young fans who don’t know the business. They own label wouldn’t even take that bet n put that bread behind them. Self made. Check my net worth.”

I’m a grown ass man. Never depended on no man, no street nigga, no famous rapper or no white rich man in the industry to save me, vouch for me or put me in position to change my life. I got real money in diff cities way b4 a lotta niggas was even rapping…real street money. Anybody and Everybody can run their mouth in a comment box, but not everybody is willing to put their money where their mouth is. So all that talk I been hearing is cheap as fuck n holds no value. Y’all tell y’all favorite Chicago rapper to put up the bread and watch they ass ignore the fuck outta y’all and get quiet. ?They know what’s up. N they ain’t tryna see the RapGod on some rap shit n take that kinda loss. I been a problem. That’s why they act stupid they don’t know me, but my opinion bothers them when they don’t get mentioned by me. Let’s set this shit up n get it cracking tho! #TheRapGod #GOAT #FGEshit

Montana went into further detail in the caption, insisting he was one of the few rappers in the industry who would ever make this kind of offer.

“I’m a grown ass man,” he wrote. “Never depended on no man, no street nigga, no famous rapper or no white rich man in the industry to save me, vouch for me or put me in position to change my life. Earlier this week, King Von questioned why 300 was even in Montana’s name after Montana claimed Young Pappy and Polo G are two of the better Chicago rappers.

Von replied, “I still don’t kno why 300 in yo name. Which part of Chicago you even from. I was locked up wen u was dropping shit I guess. I never heard none of yo shit.”

Montana fired back with, “For years, I heard rappers ask me shit over the internet while out of arms reach. If any Chicago rapper wants 2 meet in person n lock themselves in a room w/ me 2 ask whatever they’re curious 2 know about me, it can be arranged. If u ain’t tryna meet like men, don’t tweet me shit.”

He added, “Im the best rapper out of Chicago ever + the industry period. Nobody can match me. Mfs better off finding a better beat than mine…cuz as far as rap, it’s a wrap. N I’ll kill whoever on their own shit too n y’all know that. N these crackers don’t own me or my music.”
