Katy Perry, who’s sold at least 143 million records and is one of the best-selling recording artists of all time, just got $225 million for her catalog. So, $40 million to Money Man seems a bit high.
He addressed this skepticism.
“Biggest indy rapper in the game rn got 8 plaques and billions of streams and they think I’m capping about 40m’s for my catalog lol ok I don’t even gotta do a tour I own my own masters so I actually see royalties from streams,” he typed.
