In a press conference yesterday, Tory Lanez’s attorney said that Kelsey Harris’ former bodyguard, Bradley James, overheard Harris saying she was the one who shot Megan Thee Stallion in 2020, not Tory.
Lanez is currently serving 10 years in prison for shooting Megan, but he and his legal team always claimed that Harris, who’s Megan’s former friend, pulled the trigger since she was there that night.
There’s even talk that Lanez being stabbed 14 times this week has something to do with James’ claim.
Megan’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, issued a statement after the press conference, and he doesn’t believe that any of this will impact Lanez’s conviction.
“Tory Lanez was tried and convicted by a jury of his peers and his case was properly adjudicated through the court system,” said Spiro. “This is not a political matter—this is a case of a violent assault that was resolved in the court of law.”
Meanwhile, Megan hasn’t said anything about James’ claim and neither has Harris.
