Last month it looked like J. Cole put a significant dent in his career by publicly apologizing to Kendrick Lamar after dissing him on the song “7 Minute Drill.”
But ever since the battle between K Dot and Drake took a gossipy and salacious turn, some say that Cole is the true winner for bowing out early.
On Wednesday, May 8, a TikToker said she went to the beach and ran into Cole while he was relaxing. Not only did she get a photo with the Dreamville artist but asked him about the Kendrick, Drake feud.

“He said he doesn’t even like beef period. He’s really just chillin,” wrote the TikToker.
A lot of people commented on the pic and that’s where it’s said that Cole made the right decision by exiting the beef.
