There was a time when a Lil Wayne update on his Carter series would send the rap world into a frenzy.
That time is over.
Nevertheless, there is still some interest in Carter 6 and Wayne took the time last night to detail where he’s at with the project.

“I’m working on Carter 6, I just want you to know that. I’m going say I’m finished. Now I’m working on Carter 26,” Wayne said.
Wayne has been talking about Carter 6 since 2020, when he dropped his last album, Funeral.
He dropped Da Carter 5 in 2018.
