Los Angeles, CA – The always unpredictable Lil Wayne has reportedly chosen not to be part of one of 2020’s biggest follies, despite being contractually obligated to do so.

TMZ reports Lil Wayne totally skipped his flight to Los Angeles where he was supposed to perform during Saturday’s (November 28) big exhibition fight between Mike Tyson & Roy Jones Jr. The veteran rap megastar recently released his long-awaited mixtape No Ceilings 3 and still has his promotional flyer posted on his Instagram page.

Triller, the event’s organizer, is said to have secured SAINt JHN — who just released a new song with Kanye West — and Snoop Dogg, who is an investor with the popular social media app.

Wiz Khalifa, YG and French Montana are all slated to perform as well.

The fight goes down at 9 p.m. ET on Pay-Per-View, with or without Lil Wayne.
