When you look at Lil Wayne, you don’t necessarily think “good diet.”

But Weezy’s been eating pretty well for over 20 years, thanks to some advice from his mother.

“When I was 19 I moved to Miami and my mom is a chef and she was very happy for the move because New Orleans is crazy. One thing she really wanted me to do was get a personal chef,” Lil Wayne explained during a chat with Zane Lowe. “So from the age of 19 to now, I’ve always had a personal chef. I haven’t eaten any fast food forever. I don’t know what McDonald’s smell like.”

While the 40-year-old is kind to his body by avoiding fast food, he tends to leave it alone other than that.

“Only gyms I know is Jim Jones,” Wayne said. “I can’t lift a weight. I don’t do no workout.”

In other Wayne news, he recently criticized Billboard for putting him 7th on the all-time best rapper list.

Wayne believes he is number 1.
