Lil Wayne pledged his allegiance to Donald Trump with a Twitter post last month, posing for a photo with the soon-to-be former president at the White House.

He wrote in the caption, “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus. besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

Needless to say, Wayne’s sentiments promptly caught the attention of the rap community and he was both dragged and applauded for hopping on the Trump train. But for those thinking it was simply a one-time stunt, think again.

On the recently released No Ceilings 3 mixtape, Weezy raps about his devotion to Trump on the track “Life Is Good.”

“Working out my demons, that’s beautiful,” he spits. “And bae off of that riesling, she super loose/I smoke it, she say pass it, she doing too much/Haven’t done my taxes, fucking with Trump.”

50 Cent was initially among the small list of rappers who publicly endorsed Trump but pulled back his support once his ex-girlfriend/comedian Chelsea Handler shamed him on Twitter and enticed him with “another round” in bed if he’d publicly denounce Trump — which he ultimately did.

Following Wayne’s endorsement, the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ legend couldn’t pass up an opportunity to clown Wayne.

“Oh no Wayne,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “I WOULD HAVE NEVER TOOK THIS PICTURE.” He later antagonized Wayne further after the Cash Money rap star was charged with a felony for weapon possession, posting, “Wait a minute Trump still got 63 days left, call him wayne. get that fool on the phone. they gonna try to put you in jail for supporting trump.”
