Lil Uzi Vert is feeling some type of way about this year’s BET Awards nominations.
On Monday (June 15), BET announced the nominees for the 2020 awards show ahead of its June 28 premiere. Despite finally releasing his highly-anticipated No. 1 album Eternal Atake this year as well as a deluxe edition, Uzi’s name wasn’t on the list. In a series of tweets, the Philly native chocked it up to being different than his rap peers.
“Y’all see how they do ya boy,” he tweeted. “Its because I don’t follow the Rules of HipHop. Its boring.”
