J. Cole and Lil Pump had somewhat of a beef in 2018.

The tension resulted in Cole predicting Pump’s career wouldn’t last on his song “1985.”

The Florida rapper’s fans were also screaming “f*ck J. Cole” at one point.

But the two seemed to squash things after sitting down for a conversation in 2018.

Pump spoke about that talk with Complex and said he shocked Cole, who thought he’d be too high to converse.

“I don’t have no hate against Cole. I got respect for him. I was just trolling at the time,” Pump admitted. “He was talking to me, and he was like, ‘Damn, you’re actually smart.’ He was like, ‘I thought you were going to be fried out walking over here, falling and sh*t, drugged out.’ I was just having a regular conversation with him, and he was like, ‘Yo, you’re a smart kid. You just play dumb on the internet, but you know what you’re doing.’”

Has Pump been fooling everyone this whole time with his mindless, party dude act?
