Lil Durk plans to provide fans with a new LP amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Alamo Records artist has announced an album titled Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 and shared a video for its latest single “Viral Moment” produced by TouchOfTrent.

The Only The Family boss hasn’t revealed the tracklist for his 15-track LP but has unveiled the titles of four songs. “All Love,” “Turn Myself In,” the G Herbo-assisted “Chiraq Demons” and aforementioned “Viral Moment” are all confirmed for the album.

The upcoming project serves as a sequel to Durk’s 2018 mixtape Just Cause Y’all Waited and a prelude to his No Auto Durk collaboration with Metro Boomin. The Chicago-bred rapper hasn’t publicly discussed a release date for his project with Metro as of Monday (April 27).

Lil Durk Hands Out Free Meals To COVID-19 Frontline Workers In Chicago

Ahead of his Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 announcement, Durk lent a helping to the COVID-19 relief efforts in his hometown. The Windy City native donated meals to healthcare workers at Chicago’s Rush University Medical Center.

“I been living down in Atlanta, but everyone back home has been in my thoughts, especially those doing something for the community and all the neighborhood heroes,” he told RealStreetRadio last week. “I thought about all the first responders putting their lives on the line to help out and it inspired me, so I took a jet back to Chicago to show my thanks.”

Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 is scheduled to drop on May 8. Watch Durk’s “Viral Moment” video above and pre-order the album here.
