Lil Baby’s WHAM album topped the Billboard chart in its first week with 144K SPS

However, it’s set to drop to 57K and fourth place in its second, amid pretty bad reviews.

It’s not the first time a Baby album was hit with lousy word of mouth despite a strong opening.

The same thing happened to his 2022 project It’s Only Me.

During a chat with Complex, he admitted he didn’t even want to drop the album because he didn’t think it was very good.

“I didn’t even want to put It’s Only Me out at the time, because I wasn’t ready,” Lil Baby explained. “I wasn’t in [the right] headspace. Those were songs I was just making, but it was nothing that I really loved, and nothing I even really liked.”

Is Lil Baby perhaps just … bad?
