From a Dutch and Hungarian Father and a Lebanese mother was born Gilles Jan Petersen, best known as Laszlo Jones. After gaining international recognition with the single “Download Me Im Free” back in 2011, watched over 1M times on YouTube, the Beirut-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and producer continued honing his craft and polishing his skills, never taking anything for granted and focusing on the essence of his sound.

Recently, he amazed the crowd by releasing an atmospheric indie rock single, “In The Morning,” with visuals, sharing his take on the coexistence of tragedy and beauty, an extremely relevant thematics given the troubled times seen by the world these past few years.  

Off his upcoming EP Beyond The Door, “In The Morning” was recorded between Paris, New York, Beirut, London and Las Vegas, and mixed by Kane Churko (In this moment, 5 Fingers Death Punch, Ozzy Osbourne, Papa Roach, Skillet, Disturbed) at the “Hideout” studio in Las Vegas. The song features the incredible musicianship of drummer Ralph Sammins, bassist Michael Buyens, arranger Marcos Barilari, and pianist Michael Arrom.
