Kid Cudi & J. Cole Will Headline Governors Ball 2022
Kid Cudi and J.Cole will headline The Governors Ball in June, with sets from Denzel Curry, Roddy Ricch and more.
Being one of the few music festivals that held it down in 2021, The Governors Ball has announced its 2022 lineup with Friday and Sunday headliners J. Cole and Kid Cudi, respectively. The festival lineup comes just one year after celebrating it’s 10-year anniversary in 2021 after being cancelled in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. From June 10-12, the New York City festival will kick off the summer with appearances from Playboi Carti, Roddy Ricch, Denzel Curry, and more.

According to Yahoo! Entertainment, Governors Ball promoters, Founders Entertainment, will be making a $25,000 donation to New York City Mayor’s Fund’s relief efforts after 17 died in a Bronx apartment building fire earlier this month.
Attendees will also get to catch Jack Harlow, Kaytranada, Black Pumas, and Jazmine Sullivan who announced on Twitter yesterday that her Grammy-nominated third album Heaux Tales would get the deluxe treatment as Heaux Tales, Mo’ Tales: The Deluxe on February 11th. On Valentine’s Day, the singer will embark on 26-date The Heaux Tales tour with Tiana Major.
The Governors Ball will also have a surprise appearance from Shaquille O’Neal performing under his DJ moniker ‘Diesel’. So far, there’s no telling whether Diesel will perform cuts from his classic 90’s catalog spanning from Shaq Diesel to You Can’t Stop the Reign.
With more than 60 artists performing, The Governors Ball is sure to make a splash to mark the beginning of summer. Today, through Thursday, January 27 at 11:59am, there will be a special presale for three-day and one-day general admission and VIP tickets exclusively for Citi Cardmembers. Beginning Thursday, January 27 at noon, three-day and one-day GA and VIP tickets (including payment plan options) will be available to all ages at GovBall.com.
