There’s been a lot of chatter about a 50 Cent-Lil Wayne Verzuz.

Radio personality Ebro opined that it would be a slaughter, with Fif doing to Wayne what Jadakiss did the Dipset.

Kevin Durant was a little more diplomatic. Ā But he also believes 50 has a pretty good shot of winning. [Jump to six minutes.]

ā€œI wouldn’t say 50 is going to flat-out wash Wayne,ā€ he began. ā€œI won’t say that out of respect for Wayne. But it’s not going to be a clear-cut win for Wayne against 50 Cent, and these records that he has from ’02 to, let’s say, ’07, 08 … It was one of the best runs in the history of Hip Hop,” Durant said. ā€œAnd he still a monster. A lot of sh*t and he’s had a 20-year run based off of what he created back then and so many avenues that he built off of that run and had so many pivots in his career. Like, 50 is one of the greatest.ā€

There is no indication there is going to be a Fif-Weezy Verzuz. Ā In fact, 50 believes Drake would be a better match-up for Tunechi.
