The comedian recently claimed he was the one who encouraged Steph Curry to begin shooting deep three-pointers during games.
He said it happened before Steph joined the NBA and when Katt was paying Curry five grand to do celebrity basketball games for the LA Children and Families Services.
He noticed Steph could hit shots from deep, so he told him to start doing it in the games because nobody would cover him there.Ā The rest is history.
