Harris County, TX – JayDaYoungan is facing some serious charges. According to KHOU 11 Houston, the 22-year-old was taken into custody in Harris County, Texas on Thursday (January 6). Police were executing a family domestic violence warrant on the Louisiana-bred rapper and discovered Jay hiding in an attic.
Jay, who stands accused of hitting a pregnant woman, was in possession of numerous illicit substances, including oxycodone, promethazine and marijuana. Authorities also discovered several firearms and $24,000 in cash.
KHOU reporter Brett Buffington captured a photo of Jay being arrested.
“#BREAKING Javorius Scott AKA @JayDaYoungan arrested on family domestic abuse warrant in North Harris County this afternoon by @Pct4Constable,” he tweeted. “He’s accused of hitting a pregnant woman. I’m told he was found hiding in an attic. Sources tell me cash was also seized from the home.”

In addition to the family domestic violence charge, Jay is now facing a charge of possession of a controlled substance as well.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office website confirms he’s still in custody. His bond has been set at $20,000.
