Isaiah Rashad unleashes another glimpse at his upcoming album, The House is Burning.

With a sophomore album presumably arriving any day now, Isaiah Rashad is keeping his foot on the gas.

Overnight, the Tennessee rapper shared yet another new single, “Headshots (4r Da Locals,)” offering a syrupy and southern fried slow-burner tailormade for late-night smoke sessions. The track arrives as the second official single off Rashad’s incoming album, The House is Burning, following last week’s release of the two-headed non-album single, “200/Warning.” The new album campaign commenced with the release of the rapper’s Duke Duece collaboration, “Lay With Ya,” at the top of May. In the time since, Rashad also appeared on the season premiere of Kenny Beats‘ Youtube series, The Cave, cutting a heater from scratch in no time at all.

While little is known about the new album (including when exactly it will actually arrive,) the rapper opened up about the struggles he encountered in between the release of his TDE debut and his incoming project for the West Coast banner in a recent cover story for The Fader. In the interview, Rashad admitted substance abuse has been an ongoing battle. “There wasn’t a whole bunch of recovery,” the rapper told Jeff Weiss in the interview. “I just went into the interviews and told niggas I fucked my life and health up. Then I went on tour and it ain’t like a lot of shit had changed. If anything it got worse, but it just didn’t look as bad outwardly because I had so much going on,” Rashad recalls.

Hear the new single from Isaiah Rashad below and hold tight for updates on the release of his new album, The House is Burning, in the weeks ahead.
