These days technology is such that you can’t really trust videos.
However, a video of Kanye West at Freaknik that has gone viral because of Hulu’s upcoming Freaknik documentary is at least 20 years old so its veracity is less in question.

While that’s clearly Ye looking uninterested as young lady twerk, the fashion choices of the men in the video and the phone Kanye is using suggests that it’s at least 2001.
Freaknick ended in 1999 and then restarted in 2019.
So while it might be Ye, it’s not Freaknik.
