Gucci Mane wasn’t feeling very forgiving on Easter Sunday (April 12). Guwop woke up and delivered a harsh message Twitter on Sunday morning, sharing a desire for his haters to die from COVID-19.

“I pray my haters die of corona virus,” he wrote.

Gucci’s extreme prayer didn’t receive a warm reception. Most of the responses to his tweet were critical, including a disappointed reaction from former UFC fighter Gerald Harris.

“Man you need some online church services and a hug,” Harris wrote. “This is the worst timed tweet ever. There are people actually mourning the loss of loved ones now, due to the virus. Bad move big homie…”

COVID-19 has disrupted the lives of people around the world and led to thousands of deaths.

In the United States alone, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports 20,486 deaths as of April 12.
