Ahead of the 63rd Grammy Awards, Givēon unveils a deluxe album and an aesthetically pleasing visual for his RIAA Gold Certified single “Heartbreak Anniversary.”

Givēon has revealed a deluxe edition of his recently released projects titled When It’s All Said And Done… Take Time

The compilation arrives ahead of the 2021 Grammys which could potentially be a monumental evening for the singer. He’s nominated for the Best R&B Album category, we’ve already made this clear but we’re rooting for him.

On the 13-track album, you’ll find each of the tracks that have captured the hearts of R&B fans over the past year. There’s also a new track that concludes the release, “All To Me.” The cut is an enjoyable listen, it centers around yearning for a lover that’s caught up over her ongoing flame.

Alongside When It’s All Said And Done… Take Time, Givēon also unveiled a visual for his single “Heartbreak Anniversary.” Directed by Salomon Ligthelm, the video focuses on a rocky relationship that is filled with ups and downs. The visual captures the push-and-pull energy that’s often a part of tumultuous partnerships.

The Long Beach singer/songwriter is up against John Legend (Bigger Love), Ant Clemons (Happy 2 Be Here), Luke James (To Feel Love/D), and Gregory Porter (All Rise) for Best R&B Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards. Take Time, the album that received the nod was rolled out amid the pandemic and was met with widespread acclaim.

Givēon’s captivating baritone voice has led him to receive an RIAA Gold Certified plaque for “Heartbreak Anniversary.” It’s been remarkable watching his ascension from vaguely known to a household name and a standout on streaming playlists. His live performances this year including an NPR Tiny Desk released during Black History Month provided a closer look at what sets him apart from other singers in the realm of  R&B.
