Eminem has raised the level of excitement over his new album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), by giving fans a release date.
“OH SH*T!!! THE DEATH OF SLIM SHADY (COUP DE GRÂCE) ☠️ 7/12!!!” he wrote on Instagram, Monday, July 1.
Em’s rollout of the album has been nothing short of impressive, first promoting it with a trailer that includes 50 Cent, then having an obituary for his alter-ego Slim Shady published in the Detroit Free Press.
He’s already released the first single, “Houdini,” which shows him revisiting his Shady persona throughout the years.
He’s expected to release another single later today.
