Eminem is continuing his efforts in the fight against COVID-19. After donating his famous Mom’s Spaghetti to Michigan healthcare workers and kicking off the “Love Your DJ” contest for Motor City DJs, the diamond-selling MC is participating in another benefit to raise money for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

Em made the announcement Twitter on Wednesday (April 29) with a reference to the 2002 single “Cleanin’ Out My Closet” from The Eminem Show. He revealed he was donating a pair of Air Jordan 4 Retro “Carhartt x Eminem” collabs as well as a vintage t-shirt.

“Cleanin’ out my closet… donating extra pair of my @Jumpman23 @Carhartt 4’s along with a vintage T to @stockx. Proceeds go to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.”

Like the majority of the population, Em has been self-quarantined at home. During a recent interview with Sway Calloway, he talked about how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting him, noting fame already put him in a certain type of isolation — but it doesn’t mean he’s immune to the current state of the world.

Here’s How Quarantine Is Affecting Eminem

“Fame has definitely over the years kinda already had me quarantined, but it’s the fact of knowing that you can’t really go out and we can’t move like how we normally move,” he said. “It’s not just the same thing for me every day that it always is. There’s something to be said about knowing that you can’t go out and do certain things.

“It’s not the same when you can’t do a lot of your regular routines and shit, and going to the studio is like my outlet. We can’t really get in and do much, so I’ve just been writing.”
