As the coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage the globe, more and more celebrities are pitching in to help. Whether it’s mask donations to a local hospital, monetary assistance or Instagram Live parties, they’re all trying to contribute in their own way.
On Tuesday (April 7), Eminem stepped in and announced a free subscription to his SiriusXM radio station Shade 45.
“The @Shade45 crew can help keep you sane,” he captioned the post. “Right now, you get Shade 45 for free, along with full @SIRIUSXM access!” He included the link, which can be found here.
As noted on the graphic, the freebie will be available until May 15.

Shade 45 first aired in 2004 and plays music from a laundry list of some of Em’s favorite artists, including 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Tech N9ne, & Schoolboy Q. The channel also hosts the popular Sway In The Morning show with host Sway Calloway.
According to the latest report from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, there are roughly 374,329 cases in the United States and isolating at home is being encouraged more than ever. Music has been one of the saving graces of this self-quarantining period.
