Elliott Wilson and Drake used to be cool with each other.

That changed after Wilson said Drake doesn’t do enough urban interviews.

Then they fell out even further when the journalist seemed to side with Kendrick Lamar in the Compton rapper’s beef with Drizzy.

Wilson was asked how he could repair his relationship with Drake on a recent episode of the Need To Know Podcast, and he said it has to do with being a top-tier journalist.

“I think I’d have to earn his respect,” said Wilson. “I think I’d have to go on a run, for media, like a Kendrick Lamar like run, where Elliott is back in the conversation as one of the best that’s doing it — his contents amazing, and earn his respect outside of whatever feelings he may have about how I feel about what happened with him and Kendrick.”

Do you think that strategy will work?
