Thor has punk and metal fans covered this christmas. Jon Mikl Thor and producer Kevin Stuart Swain have dropped the epic single “Donner and Blitzen” for the ultimate thunderous Christmas experience.
The single is off the band’s album Christmas In Valhalla, and features Jon’s vocals and Kevin for the instrumental. The novelty of the song lies in its re-mixing and mastering by highly acclaimed engineer Achim Koehler, who has collaborated with artists including Gillian, Alice Cooper, Bruce Dickinson and Krokus, to name a few. The song was described as “The New York Dolls meets Led Zeppelin’s Rock and Roll.”
