With Drake suing UMG, Tekashi 6ix9ine suing LA Fitness, and Chris Brown suing Warner Bros., we’re now in the season of high-profile lawsuits.

The latest celebrity to take legal action is Diddy, who filed a $50 million defamation suit against Courtney Burgess, a guy who told NewsNation that he has footage of Diddy assaulting celebs and minors.Ā

Burgess was also a grand jury witness.

On top of that, Diddy ā€” who’s in jail on a sex trafficking charge ā€” is suing Burgess’ lawyer, Ariel Mitchell, and the owner of NewsNation.

50 reacted to the lawsuit by posting a 2018 interview of Diddy saying he wants to be 50’s friend.

“Me and him could be friends, but he doesnā€™t want to be my friend,” says Diddy in the clip. “I wanna be his friend so I could teach him everything I know, so he could become a better money-getter since Iā€™m the number one money-getter in the world … 50, please be my friend. Yo, 50 youā€™re breaking my heart. Curtis, please be my friend.”

“Nah something ainā€™t right, stay over there play boy. LOL” wrote 50 in the caption.

What do you think about Diddy’s $50 million lawsuit?
