Ottawa, Canada – Whether or not he was on your radar, Ottawa-born Canadian MC Dax had an incredible run in 2019 — culminating with his critically acclaimed “Dear God” visual, which has surpassed 15 million views in a matter of months.
Starting his 2020 run with a bang, Dax puts his signature spin on Eminem’s “Godzilla,” which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The official video, premiered Billboard, sees him taking the literal role of Godzilla — breathing fire and all — before dropping a barrage of bars in one shot.
His take on the Music To Be Murdered By single is only the latest Em track he’s touched. Most notably, he’s seen success with freestyles over “The Real Slim Shady” and “Killshot.”
Next up for Dax is a single titled “Book of Revelations,” which he’s been promoting on his Instagram, followed by his seven-song project I’ll Say It for You. He also recently posted an in-studio Instagram video with Snow The Product, during which she exclaims that the two have a song coming soon.
