Dame Dash owes a $823,000 judgment to movie producer Josh Weber after losing dueling lawsuits over a movie they were going to produce together before Weber fired Dame.

That’s why he was forced to sell his share in Roc-A-Fella last year.

However, that sale wasn’t able to produce the necessary funds to pay off the judgment, and now Dash may be arrested for failing to appear in court.

This week, a federal judge warned that if Dame and his company, Poppington LLC, do not comply with discovery demands by May 9, he will be held in contempt and face a bench warrant.

There’s a good chance Dame won’t show for discovery.  Last month, his legal team withdrew from the case, citing a lack of cooperation from Dash.

Dash believes he’s better off waiting for the bankruptcy process to begin, rather than responding in court, against the counsel of his former lawyers.
