Kanye West announced his intention to run in the 2020 presidential election on the Fourth of July, much to the chagrin of Democrats. Although it’s much too late in the game to truly have a real shot at the White House, Ye has pressed forward with his plans and attempted to get on as many ballots as possible.

Meanwhile, Kanye’s Twitter fingers continue to stay busy and now, DaBaby is caught up in his web. On Tuesday (August 11), Ye fired off a tweet that read “Let’s goooooo” and quickly explained it was “Da baby ad lib by the way.”

Early Wednesday morning (August 12), the Charlotte-bred rapper noticed the tweets and replied with, “Warning! Use the ‘let’s goooo’ adlib at your own risk. It makes you unstoppable.”

But that wasn’t an issue. It was what DaBaby said after the initial response that riled up Twitter.

“Ima let y’all finish,” he wrote. “But you got me fucked up you think I ain’t voting for Ye.

Kanye has been accused of trying to sabotage Democratic hopeful Joe Biden who just announced Kamala Harris as his pick for vice-president this week. The belief is the more votes Ye is able to steal from Biden, the better chance Donald Trump will have of getting re-elected.

Is Kanye West Trying To Steal Votes For Donald Trump With 2020 Presidential Bid?

Up until July, Ye has been an outspoken supporter of Trump and even sported the infamous “Make America Great Again” hat on numerous occasions. But during an interview with Forbes, which was described as “four hours of rambling,” Ye said he no longer backed Trump and promised to take the MAGA hat off.

“It looks like one big mess to me,” he said. “I don’t like that I caught wind that he hid in the bunker … I am taking the red hat off, with this interview.”

Needless to say, the damage has already been done. Anyone supporting Kanye for president is often met with a healthy dose of backlash and DaBaby is no exception. Check out some of the reactions below.
