Charlotte, NC – The last few weeks have been rough for DaBaby, as he and his family have been dealing with the abrupt suicide of his older brother, Glen.

Taking to the studio to cope with the pain, the 2019 HipHopDX Rapper Of The Year released the surprise EP My Brother’s Keeper (Long Live G) EP on Friday (November 20) and the official single has been set.

For the “Gucci Peacoat” video (directed by @Gemini.one1), the scene of the funeral puts the song’s somber tone in perspective.

“Lately I been in my feelings like a hoe/I ain’t been really havin’ hope ’cause I been missin’ my bro/I was at the polls in a Gucci peacoat/Tryna tell all y’all bitch ass niggas, ‘Come vote,’ he spits passionately on the chorus.

The seven-track effort is supported by guest features from Meek Mill, Polo G, Toosii and NoCap. Watch the “Gucci Peacoat” above and stream the project here.
