In 2018, before he was a household name, DaBaby shot and killed a man during a dispute in a  Huntersville, North Carolina Walmart.

Prosecutors decided not to charge DaBaby in the death of 19-year-old Jalyn Domonique Craig, agreeing with DaBaby that it was self-defense since Craig had flashed a gun at him while he shopped with his family.   Instead, he was convicted of carrying a concealed gun, a misdemeanor and got a year of unsupervised probation.

DaBaby addressed the incident in his new track Masterpiece, which drops tonight.

"They just told me that somebody died but it don't bother me, that's a G thing/No it don't bother me, it's the G way/I don't know what went down at that Walmart/I don't know what happened on that freeway/Okay, there go that baby, he back now/Run it back, hey b*tch, turn that on replay," he raps in a track which is currently avialable in international markets.

Would you be bothered if you killed someone?
