Chris Brown has avoided a sexual assault lawsuit after his unnamed accuser filed for a dismissal.

The Jane Doe in question alleged she was assaulted inside the platinum-selling R&B star’s home. Details of when the incident allegedly occurred haven’t been revealed to the public.

According to The Blast, the Jane Doe filed for the case’s dismissal on behalf of all parties. She was represented by Gloria Allred’s Los Angeles-based law firm, Allred, Maroko & Goldberg.

Allred is a seasoned civil rights attorney known for championing feminist causes and taking on high profile cases. She represented Nicole Simpson’s family during OJ Simpson’s murder trial, as well as 33 women who accused Bill Cosby of rape.

The Jane Doe’s filing doesn’t include a monetary settlement agreement.

Brown is no stranger to controversy. In 2009, he assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna in the back of a Lamborghini and was convicted for felony assault. He received five years probation.

In the documentary Chris Brown: Welcome To My Life, Brown described each violent detail of how the incident unfolded.

“I remember she tried to kick me, but then I really hit her, with a closed fist, like I punched her,” Brown said. “I busted her lip. When I saw it, I was in shock. I was like, ‘Fuck, why the hell did I hit her?’ From there, she just spit in my face … like spit blood in my face and it enraged me even more. It was a real on fight in the car.”

Breezy is currently said to be cooking up a collaborative mixtape with Young Thug, which is “coming soon.”
