Fans grew concerned over the rapper’s health when a video of his DMX salute began circulating on social media.

After causing a scare with a bedridden video that went viral yesterday, Black Rob has reportedly left the hospital.

In a video posted today, fellow Bad Boys Records alum, Mark Curry, assured fans that BR had been released, but held off on sharing any details regarding his condition or the cause of his hospitalization. “Black Rob just got discharged from the hospital,” Curry said in an Instagram video on Sunday. “The way the world tends to it and cares, it’s overwhelming to see how many people care about our legends,” Curry added before noting “this is something that Rob’s been going through.”

Curry’s updated was welcomed by fans growing concerned over the rapper’s health after a video of his DMX salute began to circulate on social media Saturday morning. In the brief clip shared by DJ Self, a visibly frail Rob struggled through his words. “The pain is crazy man. It’s helping me out though. It’s making me realize I got a lot to go on man,” the rapper can be heard saying. “I feel everything about X man. He was positive. Big love to X man,” Rob adds about the recent death of DMX before the video cuts out.

This morning Rob himself shared a video, offering some context for the hospital stay, but also revealing that he is currently without housing. “I’ve been dealing with this, man, for five years. Four strokes, I don’t know what to tell you, man. This shit is crazy, this shit is hard,” the rapper said.

A GoFundMe campaign was launched by Mike Zombie to “help him find a home, pay for medical help & stability during these trying times.” You can make a donation here.
