As part of her 100 Barbz promotion, Nicki Minaj has been offering her fans prices, such as a signed CD, if they prove they’ve bought or downloaded four copies of her new Pink Friday 2 album.

This afternoon, Billboard informed her they would dock her sales because of the promo.

“been discussing my 100 barbz contest for months. they said billboard reached out to say they gon take away sales for me telling y’all about the 100 barbz thing. Can’t wait until these next 6 hours are up so I can tell y’all some sh*t. You can give out millions in cashapp money tho. Lol. So barbz, me asking you to show PROOF of something that was already DELIVERED OR PURCHASED IS AGAINST THE RULES. SO pls disregard. Apologies,” Nicki typed.

Yesterday, HitsDailyDouble projected Pink Friday 2 would do 199K in its first week, up from the initial projection of 170-190K.

When the final numbers come out this weekend, we’ll have a better idea if they did end up docking her and how much.
