Big Sean is back with another taste of his forthcoming Detroit 2 album. On Monday (August 31), the Grammy Award-winning rapper came through with a new visual for “Harder Than My Demons,” which follows “Deep Reverence” featuring the late Nipsey Hussle and “Don Life” with Lil Wayne.

The video adheres to the heaven and hell theme suggested in the title and utilizes plenty of powerful imagery to bring the song’s concept to life. At one point, a noose is set on fire as a little boy with angel wings stands silent with several black balloons tied to his back. The striking visual also takes a unique approach in the sense a lot of it is shot from underneath Sean as he raps.

Detroit 2 serves as the sequel to 2012’s original and the follow-up to his 2018 solo album I Decided. The project features executive production from both Kanye West and Hit-Boy and is expected to arrive via Def Jam Recordings/G.O.O.D. Music on September 4.

Until then, check out the “Harder Than My Demons” video up top.
