Beyoncé’s OnlyFans shoutout on Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage Remix” has reportedly led to a 15 percent increase in site visits – less than 24 hours after its release.

The burgeoning company’s COO Tom Stokely expressed his excitement at the “surprise call-out from Beyoncé,” while acknowledging the recent spate of endorsements from other well-known artists.

“(Beyoncé’s) stamp of approval comes on the heels of major stars joining the platform in recent weeks, including Blac Chyna, The-Dream, Safaree Samuels, and Casanova,” he tells The Daily Beast.

We built OnlyFans as a platform to enable creators to share their authentic content, free from brand endorsements and paid deals, and the growing momentum among these celebrities is the beginning of a new movement in social media that prioritizes personalization over mass appeal.”

According to The-Dream, the line that brought more eyes to the platform and got tongues wagging on Twitter – “Hips TikTok when I dance/On that Demon Time, she might start an OnlyFans”  – originated from Jay-Z.

On Thursday (April 29), when The-Dream – who produced “Savage (Remix)” – promoted the song on his Instagram account, music industry executive and famed artist manager Merck Mercuriadis commented, “@thekingdream writes @tiktok into culture!”

The-Dream responded, saying, “that’s a j line.”

The “Savage (Remix)” visuals dropped on Wednesday (April 29), with all proceeds going to both B’s and Meg’s hometown of Houston, Texas. The single includes a shoutout to another quarantine trend, Demon Time, a late-night adult Instagram Live stream featuring a rotating cast of typically anonymous strippers performing for viewers.
