The song is featured on a colossal upcoming collection of the late singer’s work, including 19 unheard demos and alternate takes.

A towering career retrospective on the late Aretha Franklin‘s work is on the way.

According to The Detroit News, Rhino is issuing an 81-song collection from the late Queen of Soul’s catalog in a 4xCD set, including rare live performances, alternate takes and demos. Simply and aptly titled Aretha, the box-set spans the entirety of Franklin’s career, featuring songs from 1955 through 2015. Rhino will also be offering an abbreviated version of the set in a double-LP vinyl package. The full set will retail for $59.98, while the latter will be sold for $31.98. Both versions are set to arrive on November 20th.

Ahead of the collection’s release, a morsel of previously unheard material has been unveiled with the drop of Franklin’s home demo recording of “My Kind of Town (Detroit Is).” On the brief and jazz-laced rough-cut, Franklin swells over a reworked Frank Sinatra standard, claiming the track as entirely her own.

Hear Aretha Franklin soar on the previously unreleased song, “My Kind of Town (Detroit Is),” above. Scroll on for the Aretha box-set’s full tracklist and hold tight for the collection’s unveiling.
