Playboi Carti’s I Am Music album has been in development hell for three years.
Carti did preview a bunch of tracks from the project in December, suggesting an early 2025 release.
That hasn’t happened, and A$AP Rocky could be to blame.

Playboi is on Rocky’s AWGE label, so it could be that they are delaying I Am Music until after Rocky’s Don’t Be Dumb album drops.
