Teaneck, NJ – A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie was allegedly involved in a shooting over the weekend as he was celebrating his birthday. The Atlantic Records artist, who turned 25 on Sunday (December 6), was reportedly at a New Jersey club called RAIN basking in another revolution around the sun when A Boogie accidentally backed into a man’s Mercedes-Benz.

In video obtained by WorldStarHipHop, the man filing a police report about the incident revealed a fight broke out as as they were about to exchange insurance information and gunfire soon followed.

“My car was parked right in front of the club and then the rapper, I believe his name is A Boogie Wit A Hoodie, his team rear ended my car,” the man tells the police. “We were about to exchange insurance information. Following that, there were a couple fights which I witnessed and next thing you know you hear gunshots.”

Elsewhere in the video, police show up to the chaotic scene and attempt to restore order. As gunshots erupt, everyone starts to take cover and one woman is seen laying on the sidewalk saying, “I can’t breathe.”

In another clip, someone is down on the ground as people surround them. It’s unclear who’s been hit or what type of injury they sustained but according to several witnesses on the scene, one person, believed to be part of Boogie’s crew, was struck by a bullet.
