Wedged in the penultimate slot on his new EP Straitt, Safaree feels like he has delivered the ideal wedding song for his bride Erica Mena.
“This song is a feeling that I want everyone In the world to experience,” Safaree explains to RealStreetRadio. “This isn’t just a song to listen to, it is a feeling. It is love. My goal for ‘Purpose of Love’ is to be the new wedding song for the new decade.”
The Love & Hip Hop power couple were married during a lavish ceremony in October 2019 and the music comes courtesy of the soul.
“The word straiitt is a Jamaican slogan that I live by and it just means that everything is cool everything is OK,” he continues. “Straight path, no turns in the road! Eyes on the prize mindset!”
He also states, “I’ve always been the underdog and everything has been a fight for me but I have put my all into this project and this is my best work to date! My Ep Straiittt will be 1 of the best projects of 2020. Every song has its own vibe and feeling. It has every emotion that you want to feel as a human. Excitement, love, and everything that’s good that you want to feel in life.”
