The Kendrick Lamar GNX show at AT&T Stadium in Texas on April 26 grossed $11.8 million.

That makes it the highest-grossing concert by a black man as headliner or co-headliner.

The previous record holder was The Weeknd, who put up $9.8 million during his 2022 show at SoFi Stadium in LA.

However, Kendrick already surpassed Abel’s mark in two previous GNX stops, Houston and Minneapolis.

Of course, K. Dot had some help.  

He is co-headlining with SZA, the extremely popular female R&B singer.

Kendrick also has inflation on his side when comparing him to the greats of yore.
