There is a line of thought that the NBA three-point revolution, in which treys are rapidly becoming more plentiful and come from deeper, is ruining the game.

If that’s the case, you can blame Katt Williams.

Yes, that Katt Willaims.

The comedian recently claimed he was the one who encouraged Steph Curry to begin shooting deep three-pointers during games.

He said it happened before Steph joined the NBA and when Katt was paying Curry five grand to do celebrity basketball games for the LA Children and Families Services.

He noticed Steph could hit shots from deep, so he told him to start doing it in the games because nobody would cover him there.  The rest is history.
